Lastly, there are government subsidies in many places, so be sure to check with your local government department.

Is it cheaper to charge ev at home?

That’s for sure. Charging at a professional charging station usually comes with a service charge in addition to the cost of electricity. The main difference between the two is that home EV chargers are usually less powerful and slow to charge. At professional charging stations, they are usually high-power chargers, which can save charging time.

Does charging with a home EV charging solution affect the home electricity supply?

This needs to be assessed in relation to your local electricity supply, as well as your household’s electricity consumption. If you have a high household electricity consumption, it is recommended to add the DLB accessory. It can automatically and dynamically adjust to your household’s power consumption.
